Capstone Poster Approach

January 23, 2013

Poster Design

  • My capstone poster will be a serious poster.
  • I will not use bright colors, instead, I will use medical friendly colors (dark red, blue, white).
  • My poster will be simple.
  • I will use medical friendly colors, basic Times New Roman font, and photographs of a venue, Radiologists, and course syllabus.
  • I have all the materials I need for my poster. I will not need much!

Capstone Project

Capstone Project

My future career is to become a Radiologist. My capstone project idea was to create a conference or seminar to re-establish the standards of proper safety techniques when dealing with radiological and magnetic equipment, such as: MRI's, X-rays, CT Scans. I want to gather Radiologists in the city of Dallas and other surrounding cities in our local area for an annual meeting to discuss the importance of safety, excellent practice, and any treatment that may be necessary to take care of, and/or eliminate previous malpractice.

But...

My capstone project was DENIED, according to the paper that was returned to me last semester! I will stick with the same general idea, clarifying a few details and expanding more on the idea of the kind of curriculum that I wish to base my conferences on.
